MAYOBRIDGE NOTES
Congratulations to Clonduff on their fantastic achievement in winning the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie title on Sunday from all at Mayobridge GAC.
Mayobridge U16 Ladies, having joined forces with their counterparts from Warrenpoint GAC, travelled to Carryduff on Sunday under the banner of Droichead an Pointe, for their first league match of the season and recorded a good victory. The Droichead an Pointe girls got off to a strong and confident start and dominated proceedings in the first half. At the interval they were well in front and despite the home sides determined effort to get back into the game in the second half, the Droichead an Pointe combination were convincing winners in the end. Final score Droichead an Pointe 4-12 : Carryduff 1-7.
Well done and thank you to all players and mentors, this is a fantastic start to Droichead an Pointe U16 ladies’ season.
