“You can apply to attend an Irish-language summer course in Donegal through the Líofa Gaeltacht Bursary Scheme (The scheme will open for applications from 8 January 2019 in line with press advert on 8 January 2019. Deposits of all courses booked by unsuccessful applicants will be refunded if requested. This means that courses can be booked early directly with colleges to avoid disappointment. The Líofa Gaeltacht Bursary Scheme 2019 Application Form(external link opens in a new window / tab) is available online. Hard copies are also available from 8 January 2019. Please call 028 9051 5014 a or 028 9051 5008 to discuss any aspect of this (10.00 -16.00 exc Christmas holidays 24-26 Dec 2018 and 1 January 2019). Please refer to Gaeltacht section of website and Gaeltacht colleges to check which colleges are in the 2019 scheme.”

Deadline notes:
• A parent or guardian must make the application
on behalf of applicants under 18 years old.
• A signed hard copy of the application
form must be returned by 5 March 2019
