Mayobridge Club Notes
There are two important games for two Mayobridge teams this week. On Wednesday evening the U-21 team will play Bredagh (away) in the championship, throw-in 7.45.pm. while on Thursday evening the Thirds will face Ballymartin Reserves in the South Down Reserve League final at 7.30.pm. Good luck to both teams.
Mayobridge GAC Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th December in the Social Club at 7.30.pm. All members of the local community will be welcome at the meeting as the club prepares for the 2020 season. The Senior Members Christmas party takes place on Sunday 8th December.
There are six defibrillators available in the Mayobridge community. They are positioned in Church vestry, Eurospar Shop beside exterior ATM, Youth and Community Centre in the lounge area, Social Club at exterior door, Gormans Bar on front wall of building and in the School in reception area.
Mayobridge GAC deeply regret the passing of John McAvoy (Drumgath), father of our Reserve team sponsor Sean. We offer our condolences to Sean and Mandy and the entire McAvoy family circle. The club would also like to express its sincere sympathy to Danielle Barry on the death of her husband William King and to the Campbell family circle on the death of Dan Campbell, Camlough. May they all rest in peace.
