The Ulster Fleadh certainly proved very successful for our Club this weekend.
We had Eimear and Cathal Magee representing Rinn Mhic Giolla Rua CCÉ at the Fleadh and we are delighted to announce Cathal was crowned Ulster champion in solo bodhran and whistling yesterday, Eimear and her team were also crowned Ulster champions in the 15-18 age category four hand reel and finally Eimear and Cathal were both part of the 15-18 age category Grupa Cheoil that took 3rd place this afternoon. Congratulations also to Jordan Lively who was awarded third place in the Accompaniment competition.
