Heartiest congratulations to Michelle McCoy who won gold on Saturday in One Wall competition, Ladies beginners’ section in London. What an achievement, well done Michelle.
The club would like to congratulate our Scór members who achieved superb results in the South Down Final held in our Community Hall on Saturday night.
Mayobridge won the ballad group section, Eimear Magee was runner-up in Solo singing and our instrumental and Ceili Dancers are all through to the County Final which will be held on Friday night 1st March in St. Patrick’s School, Banbridge. A special thank you to Darran Rooney who acted as Fear a tí. Well done to all.
Congratulations also to our Scór Quiz team who are South Down Champions after a very competitive competition held in Annaclone on Thursday night.
MAYOBRIDGE QUIZ TEAM SOUTH DOWN CHAMPIONS
Mayobridge GAC Annual awards night will take place on Friday 8th March in the Social Club. Tickets are £15 and are available from Rosemary Magee.
Mayobridge GAC would like to wish Clonduff the best of luck on Sunday in their bid to win the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie title.
On Sunday 10th March at 2 pm there will be a Fashion Show in Mayobridge Social Club in aid of the Lourdes Fund. Tickets on sale now.
The Committee and Members of Mayobridge GAC deeply regret the passing of Anne Murphy (Mullaghbawn) mother of our underage camogie coach Ciara Cunningham. We would like to extend sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Ciara, husband Ciarán and underage players Sean, Tara and Conor and also offer our deepest sympathies to the entire Murphy and McCone family circles. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
